Change to the Baby Ticker

If you noticed the baby ticker from the other day it has changed quite dramatically. At first we figured that Amber was about 8 weeks along. We were so wrong. (Erik knew it all along. He kept telling us that we were wrong.) Amber went to the doctor and since she wasn't quite sure when it could have happened, they sent her for an ultrasound. It turns out she is only a little over 4 weeks. Way different than the 8 weeks that we thought. Oh well. Her due date is January 15, 2011. That will make Baby Payne and Ruby right at a year apart. I can't wait!!!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year my kids REALLY surprised me. They had pictures taken by our family photographer (Jessica Mackey at urbanangelphotography.com) and they turned out great. Ashley then took some of the pictures and had them put into a really nice leather bound book. I was so shocked and of course, I cried. Here are some of the pictures they had taken.
I love how Ruby is screaming in this one.

My crazy kids. I love them all!! Thanks so much for the wonderful Mother's Day.

New Ticker/New Grandbaby

Did you notice the new ticker underneath our family photo? That's right. We are going to be grandparents again. Amber and Erik announced this past week that they are pregnant. At first I did not believe them. Erik has been "crying wolf" for awhile now. It wasn't until I looked at Amber and saw that she was crying that I believed it. We are so excited!! They are really excited too. They have names picked out already. I can't wait to find out the sex.

Update on Rubes

Our little Ruby is now 2 1/2 months. She is growing so fast. She smiles a lot now and her personality is starting to show. She loves to sleep this way with her arms up under her head. Here she is just kicking back cooling.

Here she is responding to Grandpa. He can always get her to talk to him and laugh.
This is her Easter dress. Once again she is talking and laughing with Grandpa.

Ruby we love you so much!!

Aubrey's Senior Pics

Here is a sneak peek of Aubrey's Senior pictures that were taken last Saturday by our own personal family photographer Jessica Mackey. Haha. She's not really our personal photographer but she might as well be since she's done so many photo shoots of our family at different times. Check out her blog at urbanangelphotography.blogspot.com to see her amazing work (and some of the other photo shoots that she has done for us).

Aubrey, you are so beautiful and take such wonderful pictures. Yes, I am biased!

Happy Birthday Erik!!

So this is lame but my pics are on my laptop and my laptop is not working right now. I wanted to post some pics of my crazy son-in-law but I can't because my laptop is not working. Following me? So this is a lame call out to wish my first son-in-law, Erik David Payne, a Happy Birthday. I promise the first thing I will do when my laptop gets fixed is post some pics of him. We love you, Erik.
P.S. Erik is the one in our family picture on the far left. See his hair? Now you know why I think he's crazy. I'm just glad that he didn't also have his moustache at that same time.

Some wedding pictures

Here are some pictures that one of Nick's aunts took at the wedding. I was so crazy that day, I didn't even take my camera. Here are her colors. I love the purple and green. This was one of the Bridesmaids bouquets.
Here are her sisters as Bridesmaids. Left to right: Ashley McCarville (her sister-in-law with the SAME name), Amber, Erica and Aubrey. Aubrey was her Maid of Honor. Erica hates standing in between Amber and Aubrey. Look at the difference in height. She's even wearing heels.

My handsome Patrick walking her down the aisle. She looks so nervous.
Patrick giving her one last kiss before he hands her over to Nick. ( He's behind the tree. haha)

The beautiful bride!!
The happy couple. Nick and Ashley McCarville
She looked gorgeous. It was a beautiful day. More pictures (the professional ones) in a few weeks. Also, I will post pictures of our backyard decorated for the reception. It turned out amazing.
